Planning a pregnancy, much less being pregnant, can be extremely overwhelming. Your friends and family offer their personal advice and recommend all the "must read" books. Personally, when I got pregnant with Lois, I didn't find any of those recommended books to be all that compelling. Some event felt downright judgy. I figured that women had been doing this for ages without books, and that I could too. Perhaps I would have felt differently had my good friend Christa already written her book, but at least now I can share it with all of you. Christa Orecchio is a clinical nutritionist and holistic health counselor. She's the founder of The Whole Journey and has just written the book, How To Conceive Naturally, and Have a Healthy Pregnancy After 30.
This book breaks down the pregnancy into five-trimesters, to include preconception and post-partum. And no matter what stage of pregnancy you are already in, this book covers what to eat, what natural remedies are actually safe, and what to do during pregnancy to love your baby and yourself. This is a book that I would actually recommend as one of those "must read". The book and more information about natural fertility and pregnancy can be found at howtoconceivenaturally.com.
