What can I say? We make things from scratch every week, we bring nothing in prepared. Not sauces, not spice blends, nothing.
But I know we’re not the only ones on the block anymore. A lot of people are making fresh, ready to eat meals now. So what really separates us?
Our employees care because we take care of them. From the beginning we have paid everyone a living wage, we promote from within and most of our employees have been with us longer than those other companies have even existed. This means that every meal delivered is cooked with love and care.

Our leadership team is dominated by women, but we also have employees from all over the world and from all different types of backgrounds. These employees bring unique perspectives and skills to the table, and we are grateful to have them on our team. The number one rule in my kitchens is if you wouldn’t serve it to your Grandmother, don’t serve it to our customers.
The team takes this to heart. And it shows in the food. The other main rule is that we are only as good as the last meal we deliver. No one enjoys the flavors of a good reputation, they enjoy or don’t enjoy whatever meal was made for them that week.
So although we’ve been around a while and we're proud of our standing in the industry, every cook knows we are only as good as this week’s meals.
This brings a focus to everyday in the kitchen, allowing us to maintain quality, safety and flavor. We hope you enjoy the results of all this hard work! You deserve it.
Our meals are made using dozens of different techniques.
From braising and brining to smoking and roasting. We don’t let you pick all the meals specifically for a couple reasons.
One, we want you to eat a varied, nutrient dense diet. Getting stuck with the same handful of vegetables you are comfortable with is sure to leave some holes in your nutrition.
Second, we like to cook seasonally so having a menu that rotates every three months will keep the variety fresh but allow us to take advantage of what’s around when it’s around. Which at the end of the day is what Real Food is all about.
All of the diets we specialize in is something I take a lot of pride in.
People have specific, important reasons for choosing to eat the way that they do. But that doesn’t make them chefs.
We exist to provide that service for you, so you can follow your health and life goals without worrying where the next meal will come from slowing you down.
